
Species details
The cell is athecate and very small. The cingulum, situated in the anterior part of the cell, is flat, and separates the small, cupola-shaped epicone from the hypocone which has convex margins but thins to form a sharp point at the antapex. The cell contains numerous small chloroplasts.
